About Palma Sola Park
One of the oldest neighborhoods in Manatee County, Palma Sola Park was developed in the early years of the 20th century. The winding streets of Palma Sola Park feature feature an impressive mix of homes, with many of the oldest homes designed as Spanish-style manors, with stucco and barrel-tile roofs. These homes date back to the 1920's and 1930's. However, over the ensuing years, newer homes have been built. These vary from single-story Florida ranch homes to elaborate contemporary waterfront mansions.
